JUNKO AKITA was born in Kobe, Japan. After working in a bank in Japan, she moved to London and received her BA and MA in politics and international history from School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Currently she lives and works in Oslo, Norway.
She began her photography carrier as food photographer and attended the 2-year photography course at Bilder Nordic School of Photography (2017-2019) and a year- long master program at BNP (2020-2021).

神戸生まれ。ロンドン大学アジアアフリカ研究所にて政治学、国際政治史BA,MA取得。現在ノルウェー 、オスロ在住。
Bilder Nordic写真専門学校本科在籍中、Pink Lady Food Photography Award （イギリス、ロンドン）Student Food Photographer of the Year賞を2018年銅賞、2019年銀賞を受賞。作品はロンドンにあるMall Galleriesにて展示される。
プロジェクトは主に身近なことに趣を置く。人物、オブジェ、場所を中心にコンセプチュアルに作品を作り上げる。
